The filmmaker
fiction
and

Documentary

As a child Tommy fell deeply in love with cinema; watching films on repeat. When he was old enough his mother bought him a video camera that would record onto discs the filmmaker was born. Tommy alongside his friends would make ambitious films together throughout his school years. In secondary school took Media Studies as a GCSE and was taught the basics of editing and effects.

Tommy then went onto studying Acting at college but continued to write film scripts in his spare time.

When Tommy was accepted into Drama Centre London, he was given the opportunity to make a film for his final project which he wrote, co directed and played the lead role. This film was highly praised and was shown on a big screen for the public for a three night run.

Tommy then went to Falmouth university to study Television and Filmmaking; it was here that his passion moved from fiction and he found a love for documentary filmmaking.

Tommy continued his studies at the UCA in Farnham where he changed courses to Film studies. At the UCA he made great connections in the film industry and continues to write and direct films; both fiction and documentary.
