
The Actor
Tommy E. Green has had a passion for the arts from a very early age. His acting began at school where he was often cast as the leading roles in the schools productions, playing such characters as: The Hungry Caterpillar, Robin Red Vest, Winnie the Pooh and The Grinch that stole Christmas.
At secondary school his love for the stage evolved as he took drama GCSE and was highly praised for his work in class which lead to him to audition for the musical adaptation of Midsummer Night's Dream simply named Dream On where he played staring comedic role of Bottom the weaver at the young age of 16.
Tommy then went on to further his studies doing an extended diploma in performing arts at Farnborough College of Technology; during these two years he played a range of different characters:

Gregor in Metamorphosis by Steven Berkoff.

The Mad Hatter in Alice in wonderland adapted from Lewis Carroll, which he toured to schools with the FCT Theatre Company . This made it into the local paper which praised his performance.

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in the Musical by Leslie Bricusse. Tommy was also credited for adapting the piece to make it more suitable for the performance venue.
Alongside his final year of college, Tommy worked as a youth theatre assistant at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. This experience of working with yonger performers lead to his passion as a director.
At 19 years old Tommy was accepted into Drama Centre London to Study Acting and Speech craft. It was here where his acting was highly developed; he worked with industry professionals who expanded his knowledge with classes working on acting for screen, movement and physical theatre, ballet, singing and dance, stage combat, voice and accent work, improvisational comedy and method acting to only name a few. His first year ended with Tommy putting on performance for 150 people of a noire play that he wrote himself, this got him great praise from his peers.
Tommy at 21 then went on to make a film that he wrote and played the lead role in called The Importance of being urnest. The film was screened for three nights at a venue that held 300 people and was applauded for it's quirky characters and emotional depth.
At 26 Tommy returned to acting, studying at The University of Creative Arts Farnham. During his degree he has played such roles as Tom in The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams
and Orlando in William Shakespeare's As You Like it.
Being Frank was performed on the 1st of April 2022. Tommy's aim was to create a performance using semi-autobiographical methods that would allow him to express his own sadness and fears as well as frustrations within the society that he lives in. The premise was a young man that dealt with issues within mental health, Alcoholism and drug use, poverty within the community and a struggle to find purpose. Tommy wanted to ensure that the representation was truthful and unbiased, maintaining its key themes and social message whilst still having humour and being relatable.
Tommy has continued to write and direct plays and films as he ventures into Acting professionally for his career. He is currently using his Musical ability to write a Gothic musical as well as working on an Animation project that he created; this has him acting, writing, directing as well as also doing the Artwork.
